Dua Before Sleeping
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Bismika Allāhumma amūtu wa aḥyā
“In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.”
Why This Dua
The Prophet ﷺ would say this every night before sleeping, lying on his right side with his hand beneath his cheek — a small act that turns rest itself into worship.
