Dua for Sneezing
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Al-ḥamdu lillāh
“All praise is for Allah.”
Why This Dua
Those who hear it reply 'Yarḥamuka-llāh' (May Allah have mercy on you), and the sneezer answers 'Yahdīkumu-llāhu wa yuṣliḥu bālakum' (May Allah guide you and set your affairs right). The Prophet ﷺ taught lowering the voice and covering the face when sneezing.
